Created in 1998, the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Quebec (APBVQ) is a non-profit organization which today has 36 villages spread across 11 tourist regions. <\/span><\/p>

It is defined as a network of rural municipalities, part of the territory of which contains a village core or hamlet representative of the occupation of the territory by presenting authentic and harmonious sets of architectural and landscape heritage.<\/span><\/p>

Our mission is to showcase the beauty of an authentic built heritage located in exceptional landscapes to continue our role as a key player in the tourist vitality of Quebec.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

HOW TO OBTAIN THE LABEL :<\/span><\/h3><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    \n
  1. Town, village or village community of less than 8,000 inhabitants,<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Have at least one listed building and a few cited buildings,<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Present an alignment of built heritage free of visual irritants,<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Being located in an exceptional landscape,<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Promote an art of living representative of the occupation of the territory,<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Offer tourist services (attractions, accommodation and catering) nearby.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    TO APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP :<\/span><\/h3><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    1. 1. Only the municipal council can make a request,<\/li>\n
    2. 2. Submit a brief description of the reasons justifying the request,<\/li>\n
    3. 3. The request must be accompanied by a lump sum payment of $500 issued by the municipality to allow the analysis of your file,<\/li>\n
    4. 4. Include any additional documentation you deem useful,<\/li>\n
    5. 5. Send the request to the Director General :
